Blackrock Mangrove System: Photos

Blackrock has a beautiful mangrove system. I had a great time during high tide wandering through it on Parko’s boat. Lots of crabs and fish, and the birds where the other draw card, not afraid of humans. Enjoy the pictures below. To see the how resolution, go to our Facebook here. Manus Green Snail – My Crazy Tiny Safari

When I was in Manus, one thing I had to do, no matter the cost was to see, to find, to videotape and photograph a real live Manus Green snail in the heartlands of this beautiful island.

When I mentioned this to the locals, they said ‘go to the market and buy a shell.’  I explained that I didn’t want a shell of an empty experience. I am a Papua New Guinean in my beautiful country, I want the experience of what makes this country so unique and exotic.
