For the amateur and professional bushwalkers, trekkers, rock climbers, cave explorers and mountaineers, Papua New Guinea offers adventures to suit everyone be it a short tour around a local village or weeks of trekking. Adventurous destinations have over the years been identified all over my amazing paradise and with the help of various tourism organisations and the government along with locals…maximised for the ultimate adventure.
Tour operators such as Trans Niugini Tours can take you from all over the Highlands to the Sepik River.
At the luxurious Rondon Ridge eco-lodge in Western Highlands, Trans Niugini Tours can introduce you to up to ten different species of Bird of Paradise and show you hours of walking trails that offer stunning views of the incredible Wahgi Valley.
For the not so light hearted, the 96 kilometre Kokoda Track is one of my amazing paradise’s most walked land based tourism attraction.
Each year thousands of trekkers brave the iconic Kokoda Track and its terrain to meet with Koiari and Orokaiva people, explore the dense rainforests and follow footsteps of Australian soldiers and Papua New Guinean Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels who guided them during the WW2.
The track is being managed by the Kokoda Track Authority and trekking industry for the maximum benefit of the locals and visitors alike.
So put your walking shoes on and come walk my Amazing Paradise and find you own journey within!!!
